I decided to visit Osaka again after not having gone there for many years. (The last time I went to Osaka was in 2019, and that was to visit friends/see the Gudetama cafe! You can check out the blog post which features the Gudetama cafe here.)
The PINK KAWAII Cafe opened in 2019 and I had been following it for some time now, waiting until the day I could finally go! Last year's Japan trip was spent only in the Tokyo area. But this time, I wanted to venture off for a bit since I was here for a longer period of time. The cafe is exactly how you may imagine it: pink and kawaii!
Inside was so cute and decorated with lots of colours, trinkets, and cute artwork by an artist I remember seeing at Design Festa in 2018, Project C.K. There was a small merchandise corner as well!
Of course, all the food was cute and colourful too. I decided to go with the rainbow dip fries (in honor of the Kawaii Monster Cafe), rainbow pizza, and melon soda. I enjoyed all my foods! After I was done eating all that, I wanted to experience their customized drinks! You can choose your own photo to get printed on a drink or a cookie!! Of course I had to pick some GHOST GiRL art haha!
(The kawaii staff took a photo with me Yay!)
What's funny is that I even bumped into some Canadian local friends who have attended my Harajuku Picnic before!! What a pleasant surprise that was for all of us hahaha! We caught up a little once we finished our foods~
It would be really cool if I could return to the PINK KAWAII cafe if I return to Japan next year! I would love to be able to have some sort of event there~! (Maybe I can talk with the owner and see if she's interested in such a thing hehehe!) Until then . . .
BE STRANGE. FEAR THE NORM.
